stinger spoons

anyone ever tried any of the michian stingers casting from shore? something different..

    They are extremely light and even if you casted them out they would stay on or near the surface of the water.  They are meant to be used on downriggers and divers.

    They suck and the paint comes off like i never seen before. I would try a K O wobbler orange and yellow

    Put a clear enamel on them before use. They hold up great then. Still wouldn't attempt casting them.

    They make a heavier casting model in the scorpion size check out the website www.mistinger.com   hope this helps

    My brother actually caught a steely in the creek last weekend on a watermelon stringer.  Then he had one on and it snapped his line, lure and all, GONE.....I guess if you can cast them out there, they will work too.
