There is a guy in youngwood, very close to Fox Den acres campground. You can make a right on Depot St. Past the drug store. Go to the top of the hill, past the cemetery. At the next stop sign at bottom of hill make a left. Then take the road that splits to the left. It will be the first house on the left. I think his name is Jack don't hold me too it. I have seen his work and its increadible. Hope this helps Mark

If you don't mind driving a little bit, Kitzmiller's is right outside Blairsville. He does his own work, and does a good job. I'm not sure what his rate is right now. His number should be in the book if you are interested.

MGP, Do you have a picture of the trout? Perhaps it wasn't a brown (tiger maybe)? That said, if it is a brown I would reconsider mounting a 20" fish (personally). Everyone has there own standards, but a stream brown of 20" is relatively common in many, many waters throughout the east. I like to fish for natives, but I truly love to chase monster browns. Once you figure them out, you realize where they live and begin to understand their habits. I have never had one mounted, but the biggest stream brown I ever caught was slightly over 13#'s in a stream you could spit across. I am not talking about lake run fish, but rather stream residents that live in the deepest darkest haunts they can find. There are many streams within 3 hours of Pittsburgh where 10# browns are a definite possibility. Tight Lines.

No picture but it was a brown.I have some big fish on the wall but this one is joining them for it's beauty not it's size. Some day I will mount the perfect Rock Bass for another reason. Now in some areas I am a firm believer that size does matter but not always in fishing. That being said , any taxidermists that you like in my area?

mgp, I wish I knew of a good one in the area. It sounds like Egg Sac has the best one in the western part of the state. I only have one fish on the wall, and it was mounted in NY, where I am originally from. Some day a 50" musky might go on my wall, but I will have to wait until he eats my GRANDMA... Tight Lines.
