I am sure it is possible to do it, but from the impression I got from the report this guy was not at all prepared for the journey.

ORIGINAL: Bughawk

I saw on the news this morning that some guy had to be rescued from Lake Erie yesterday.  About a mile off of Walnut creek he flipped his kayak and could not get back into it.  I don' think he was fishing.  They said in the report he was trying to go to Canada....  Stupid is as stupid does, Momma always says...

For Sale 1 Kayak, only flipped once.  Does not automatically right it self.  Selling to afford bus fare to Canada.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

Now that is funny right there!!!!

I just got a small kayak a couple of weeks ago and am still learning to handle it.  That thing most definitely is not the right boat to try and paddle to Canada.  At this point if I want to go to Canada, I think I will drive or as you suggest take the bus.
