Clubs That Stock The Lower End of Jacobs Creek

Are there any clubs that put trout in the lower end of Jacobs Creek from Bridgeport to the mouth? I have heard of a couple of clubs but can never seem to find anyone who knows how to contact them. Any information would be appreciated.

I'm not sure there's any that actually stock that area, but I know some fish find thier way up there from the Yough and some wash down from up above.

I think it is a club in Perry that stocks that area.  I am pretty sure they stock the area near the iron furnace.

THANKS all. I too have heard about the Iron Furnace stockings and at Chain Town. But it's all second hand and nobody knows who to contact.

I also know that trout come up out of the Yough into most (probably all?) the local streams. I go after them when I can.

LOL, I can verify that it's stocked and I know all the guys that do it....Just can't remember the name of the club.  I'll make a few calls and see if I can get you the name.

I believe it's Alliance Furnace Sportsmen.  If anyone finds out anything let me know.

That is Alliance Furnace Sportsmen. We bought buttons from them a few years ago, when we camped and fished there. I not sure that they stock anymore.
Smithton used to stock as far as the truck could go from the mouth(about a mile), back in the day when fish were less expensive. But that was a good while ago.

I swung by the bait shop in Star Junction before work today to see if the owner knew anything about the Alliance Furnace club, but the shop was still on winter hours, only open Thurs-Fri-Sat.  The next time I stop by that shop I'll get the skinny.
