ARTHUR condition
How much open water is there? I REALLY NEED TO GET THE BOAT OUT !!!! I'm just to lazy to drive up to see myself LOL Really don't want to drive up to do some shore fishing and see that i could have taken the boat. THANKS DAVE

Was over 528 bridge yesterday, around the bridge is open and about 10 to 12 of shoreline.

The area around the bridges opened up a bit more today, and about half of the back ends of the smaller coves are open. You might be able to launch where we normally do, but won't be able to go past the pier. It should open more tomorrow, but there will be lots of ice getting blown around.

Thanks MIKE ,eyeon; was up a couple days ago and got two fish one was the huge ugly fish and one 30incher three times this year on bigugly no smallies or L/M seen a nice walleye caught by some guy not sure he was but nice fish about 23-25 incher Maybe this weekend the ice will be gone. Mike if you want to try some trolling that will cool.

Just got the call...KBBC for this Sat. has been cancelled. Looks like I have time to clean up the Skeeter for Raystown next weekend.

Hey im new to KBBC...i sent in my registration and everything for raystown. Do I just show up at the tourney? Do I just pick up my new member stuff there?

Everything you need will be at the registration trailer. & yes it's legal to pre-fish.

Was up last evening and from big lake finger up into porters cover was open. But from the 528 bridge to sail boat docks had ice, from 528 bridge up into Shannon run,swamp run.muddy creek to the upper 528 launch was open. But from upper 528 launch has mostly ice on it. There was some open water but you probably could get past and get way up into the open water near the end of the lake. I'll be trying today at some point.

Dave , that ice by the upper 528 launch was breakin in BIGG sheets & the wind was blowin it up that way. It was more like slush than ice. By the time it hit the rd. bed it was gone with the warmer waters up that way.

I called the park office today, at lunch time and they told me that most of the ice is gone.

thanks Chris Yeah i was this morning-afternoon saw only one other boat. **** same do pretty good trolling shiner's and meat. I was SURPRISED I caught any thing this earling on the lake!!!!!! Although last year close to this time i hammered the largemouth. Hmmmmm not one bass today just some toothy guys and a couple eye's One toothy guy was a 43incher maybe try tomorrow not sure though
