Cannonsburg Lake

Has anyone been fishing Cannonsburg lately for trout?  If so, are the numbers good and what has been the hot spot and bait.  I'm thinking of ditching work this afternoon and hitting it for a bit.  All info is appreciated.  Thanks!

Canonsburg is a bass lake, those trout are just food for the big ol' Lunkers in there.

I like it for both.  I have caught alot of nice bass there.  The trout of okay.  I was there about a week ago and it was slow.  Real slow, but it was a day out.

Yeah, we've hit a few spots with Senko's and Super Flukes and hit some big bass.  Biggest we've picked up was about 5 pounds, big female down near the dam.  There's a ton of cover close to sure that they are all over.

I heard that the trout are pretty small compared to other stocked lakes, must be the hatchery that stocks it. im heading to Dulap with the boat first day. I will probably hit Canonsburgh later. It is about 3 miles from the my place. Good Luck
