Rod and reel combo........

Looking for suggestions on rod and reel combo for fishing lake raystowns stripers. Not necessarily top end but not junk either. So many options to choose from these days. Want to stay with spinning reel with a good drag system, looking at Shimano`s. And does anyone know where I can get some buck tails? I`m running a little low on my supply. Thanks for looking!

The bait shop on the way to seven points sells buck tails. Stripers... better plan to go deep or fish dark/morning. Without a trolling setup in the day your pretty much just ****n in the wind.

    Keystone,
Check out the Raystown post just below on this board.  There's some good stuff there.  As for a rod: I'd say at least a Med-heavy with no less than 15# test and a 12" STEEL LEADER.   Or, you could go with a 4wt, 3# tippett and a #14 coachman.  (LOL)
