The examples of people you use have gone to Trials after being arrested and have been found innocent and/or have believed themselves wronged and won their reputations back in civil courts. All as the left was in charge politically. Am I to believe its the system you are so upset over now that the pendulum in DC has changed, or the individuals?? I dont hear you complain about rampant illegal immigration and the horrific crimes that have been perpetrated by some of those people. Therefore I tend to believe your whole moral compass is determined by politics not actions or even particular crimes. Most of us have political beliefs and judge things based upon them but frankly not to these extremes.

And I also think that when the Republican Party elevates and glorifies people like Rittenhouse and Penny, it also encourages people like Mangione to commit crimes that align with their belief system, however misguided it might be.
what a pant load. You think that way because there is no right or wrong in your left wing lunatic logic everything is "nuanced". You and your ilk are ignorant fools and the ruin of good societal order and you're too GD stupid to realize it ..KTF

r3g3 Guess you and I have very different views on whats right and wrong and the glorification of killers as you put it.
We must, because I think all of these examples - Rittenhouse, Penny & Mangione - are all complicated issues that require nuanced discussion, and a simple binary signal of “right or wrong” from the president of the United States is wholly inappropriate, for any and all of them.
And I also think that when the Republican Party elevates and glorifies people like Rittenhouse and Penny, it also encourages people like Mangione to commit crimes that align with their belief system, however misguided it might be.
What a freakin Melon Head. You can't be that stupid can you to make a statement like that. As Foghorn Leghorn would say "" What a maroon""..

That makes three responses now that are basically personal attacks or name calling, rather than anything remotely substantive. You tell me psu_fish, how is anybody supposed to take MAGA seriously when you all conduct yourselves like this?

War-what do you expect when you essentially blame republicans for this murder by virtue of old court cases on people like Rittenhouse. Its beyond a common sense reach and clearly a not too well camouflaged blame republicans (Trump) for things politics have little to do with. Your kinda like a wind up toy that sings the same song over and over.

substantive is the left wing logic that's folly due to no clear right and wrongs. To suggest a "sheepdog" mentality of one protecting others from a violent mentally ill person encourages deranged murderers is ridiculous. There is nothing "nuanced" about it . Yes, i regard you and those that think like you as ignorant fools that are a detriment to sound social order If that's insult to you, tough chit. i call it "calling a spade a spade" ..KTF

I’m not just talking about placing blame here, however calling out Trump and any or all of the right wing taste makers for glorifying dangerous behavior is definitely a part of my criticism. My initial point was about double standards. Right wingers have turned people like Rittenhouse and Penny into folk heroes. Period. Full stop. No debate. No consideration for the fact that their actions were dangerous and short sighted. But then it’s a surprise when somebody like Mangione decides to escalate the violence? And It’s incomprehensible that others don’t share the anger and resentment against a billion dollar industry that makes money by denying healthcare to sick people? You want a world where everybody is running around with guns all the time, and everybody feels free to take the law into their own hands whenever they feel like it? Ok, this where that thinking leads. Don’t act so surprised when you get what you said you wanted.

I'm sincerely going to try to help you with how you err first off, you err equating Rittenhouse and Perry as anything similar One was a stupid kid that should of stayed home Most of us with professional training and/or common sense considered it poor judgement on his part to be there. what we opposed was his prosecution for a justified shoot. a jury of our peers agreed The other (Perry) was faced with an immediate threat by a violent madman. He IS a hero for protecting others. To NOT support that, encourages thuggery. To persecute those actions discourages good guys to get involved for fear of having their lives ruined. The result are innocents being victimized while people stand around and watch. "No consideration for the fact that their actions were dangerous and short sighted." you assume wrongly they don't consider the potential dangers. "But then it’s a surprise when somebody like Mangione decides to escalate the violence? And It’s incomprehensible that others don’t share the anger and resentment against a billion dollar industry that makes money by denying healthcare to sick people?" I don't know why you and your talking head influencers link the two? What does righty being angry about a deranged murderer have to do with whether we pi55ed off about the med industrial complex? The leftists are championing a deranged murderer in an effort to draw attention to a perceived ill You can't see how sick and twisted that is?!?!?! "and everybody feels free to take the law into their own hands whenever they feel like it?" your "perception" doesn't match reality. You paint with a broad brush (another GLARRING fault of yours) Ok, this where that thinking leads. Don’t act so surprised when you get what you said you wanted. where it leads is to is clear, "non nuanced" demarcation of right and wrong that ne'er-do-wells understand lastly, If your wife/GF, mom or loved one was being victimized by a thug or madman, you'd wish a guy like Perry was around ,,KTF

Daniel Perry is a HERO in more ways than one. He is a former Marine Sgt which makes him a hero in itself marines do fight for people who cannot fight for them selves. He layed his life done before and did it again on that subway. You can't compare him to that little liberal PUNK who shot in the back that executive. I say Semper Fi to Mr. Perry we need more of them!!

genieman77 first off, you err equating Rittenhouse and Perry as anything similar
They are both examples of vigilantism that are being celebrated and propped up by right wind media and the republican party in general. Rittenhouse was at the RNC this year and got a standing ovation. I can find and link dozens of online sources where right wing media glorifies him up if you want. I'm sure Trump has said positive things about him at some point. That is why they are similar. genieman77 One was a stupid kid that should of stayed home Most of us with professional training and/or common sense considered it poor judgement on his part to be there. what we opposed was his prosecution for a justified shoot. a jury of our peers agreed
I agree that he was a stupid kid that should have stayed home, which is why it is not a black and white issue as to whether it was "justified". An investigation was absolutely justified, and the investigation determined there was evidence to go to trial. Now I am not going to debate the outcome of the trial, but the part that we agree on - that he never should have been there in the first place, that is the reason why this should not be celebrated. genieman77 The other (Perry) was faced with an immediate threat by a violent madman. He IS a hero for protecting others. To NOT support that, encourages thuggery. To persecute those actions discourages good guys to get involved for fear of having their lives ruined. The result are innocents being victimized while people stand around and watch. So who gets to decide what "thuggery" is? Who gets to decide what is right or wrong or when its time to step in and "protect others"? Penny gets to make that decision but Mangione doesnt? What if in Mangione's mind, the "innocent people" are the ones who got screwed over by the healthcare system and he's the "good guy with a gun"? Republicans just set a precedent that encourages people to take the law into their own hands, just like Rittenhouse and Penny did. You dont have to necessarily agree with Mangione's point of view, but it all comes from the same logic - I am the law. genieman77 "But then it’s a surprise when somebody like Mangione decides to escalate the violence? And It’s incomprehensible that others don’t share the anger and resentment against a billion dollar industry that makes money by denying healthcare to sick people?" I don't know why you and your talking head influencers link the two? What does righty being angry about a deranged murderer have to do with whether we pi55ed off about the med industrial complex? I dont even know what to say to you if you cant see why this event shouldn't spark a debate about healthcare in this country. Its plainly obvious. genieman77 The leftists are championing a deranged murderer in an effort to draw attention to a perceived ill Which ones? genieman77 where it leads is to is clear, "non nuanced" demarcation of right and wrong that ne'er-do-wells understand It most certainly does not. This idea is nothing more than magical thinking. Violent crime has not suddenly stopped since Rittenhouse and Penny were acquitted.
