fished fri & sat

fished on fri. evening & saturday morning for the first time this year.
the fishing was slow but we caught fish on all sections of spring creek
that we fished. the worst was getting the camp warmed up.
    has anyone been fishing spring creek lately. I was surprised when
we saw no midges hatching, has anyone seeing midges hatching on
this stream this winter.

    I saw you standing in the creek below your camp, I couldnt be sure if that was you so I didnt stop.

    I havent seen a single one yet.

    I too fished friday afternoon and just about all day yesterday.  Did not see any midges, but I did see literally a couple of BWO's yesterday.  I haven't any midges this winter there.
     
    I thought the fishing was good, I had 2 of my best days on Spring Creek so far this winter.  Water level was great, trout were everywhere.

    I was going to fish this afternoon. Try yo catch the little Black Stones, or Olives. Just when I got everything together it started to rain some. I'm not afraid to get wet, but I really wanted to fish the rise.

    ecox-hunter where did you fish on friday afternoon, just wondered
    if I talked to you on friday above the cement bridge below the
    paradise before I started to fish

    I spent friday afternoon above the paradise so it wasn't me.  I actually only saw one other guy fishing on friday and I didn't see anyone on Saturday other than my group of 3.  On saturday I fished below the paradsie though.
