yah - I hear ya - if it weren't for the winch to get the boat back onto the trailer we would no have launched in the first place.

Sounds like the lowering kind of threw the fish off a bit, which is kind of to be expected.  I for one am just glad that they didn't have to drain it completely, and it looks like they are actually going to repair the situation in a timely manner.  Thanks for the update Phish, maybe we will catch you up there next spring.
