hey all

hey guys this is my first post here and first off I want to say hi.  been fishing walnut and elk since I have been like 10 so I generally know what I am talking about when it comes to steelhead, and anyways, what is a good blank for building a steelhead rod?  7 or 8 wieght preferably.  I heard that some of the cabela's blanks are ok but just wondering your opinions
