Which 10 wt is it?
Since you're talking bass bugs and salmon, you're not looking at long casting all day like a saltwater rod would. I'd suggest a bass bug taper or some other heavy forward line with a short front taper.
The 444 sries from Cortland are decent lines and do well in colder water like salmon or most of bass season. I also like airflo lines for my warmer water rods, but it still stays limp in cold water.
