Opening Day

Good Luck to all you guys fishing the first day.  Hope you have a good time and take a few kids fishing. I'll be on elk with a thousand other people, but its tradition and will be a good time.  Have fun and catch some fish!

The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

Still...I have no clue.  I found it on a random image search and it looked fitting for the opener.

Man, that picture is nuts!  Reminds me of the connelsville dam on the yough, anyone who walks out on that dam is freakin' crazy.  One slip and you're history, I think I'll stick to wading the sides...

    Good luck on saturday!

People dont understand that even small dams have an undertow. I dont doubt for a second that picture was taken in PA somewhere.

I have a feeling, theres not gonna be as many people as previous years. Saturday here its gonna rain, then Sunday rain/snow/wind and Monday.... SNOW/WIND.

I took a walk down below the house the other evening. I dont think that too many people are gonna be pleased about the move to bigger fish in favor of less fish. I personally could care less but there are definately less fish. And yes, the ones I saw were bigger.

Good luck anyone going, may run into you about noon. C&R stream first, I hate standing around waiting to fish for fish that I dont keep.

Well if it is too bad out I just might have to sit by the fire and enjoy some suds. Orrr , fish a few hrs. then suck on suds, orr, play cards and suck on some suds. Either of the above will be enjoyable, you bet!
