The Mon was pretty high tonight

The Mon was pretty rough tonight, check out Lock 4 in Charleroi =
 



 
There was a little flooding in Fayette City too on Rt. 201 =
 



 
No river fishing for a while probably.

    201 still closed this morning, have to go up 51 to 70 to go to work.

    Here in Elizabeth, around 10 am it appears to have just crested at just a little over 22 feet, two feet over flood stage.

    Supposed to go on the Gateway Clipper tonight.  Sounds like it wont be leaving the dock.

    They where just cleaning up 201 this afternoon around 4 when I was going back home from work. That was a good idea letting the traffic use the treatment plant service road on the higher ground. I hope the river isn't goiing to be like it was all last winter, sure is a blast all winter when it stays clear and stays ice free.

    heard of a 20 pound striper caught on a bucktail jig right at the locks this year
