Not unusual here to have Deer late season already on Laurel or Hemlock or Cedar. Have shot them as they were eating on that stuff late season. Must be nice to have bean or corn eaters around. Ct can be far more wooded than folks think.
   Around here I have never seen beans or oats being grown- Its corn or alfalfa or just hay-not that any of the good stuff is anyplace near me anyhow.
 Came from a family of farmers and L/E now just L/E  and construction guys -farms long gone.
