Okuma Helios Fly Reel

I was looking into getting one of these reels for a 7 wt rod and wanted to get some opinions about it. I am mainly going to be using the rod in Erie for steelies. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have the slv on my 3 wt rod and I haven't had any problems with it and that's why I was looking at the Okuma brand.

I read a lot on here about not getting cheap on the reels and what not so that's why I was looking a little higher on the Okuma product line. I've been fishing for steelhead around 8 years now but I've always used a noodle rod. I am finally starting to get into fly fishing and want to try it out up there. I'm not trying to break the bank with a new reel but on the same note I don't want to get something that isn't going to last at least a couple years.

    Thanks for the info

I have a Okuma sierra and integra.  I have used the integra for steelhead the past two years.  I love it. Well worth buying.

I have the SLV 8/9.  I went that route cause I wanted somthing big for striper fishing as well. The extra spools for the SLV are reasonable from FishUSA if that is an interest.
