I believe if you look you will see "vanes" on a FOB ..

plus the rules says NOTHING about "vanes"... as usual you are just looking for an arguement to "bash" the PGC...

with fletching design only for guidness at the aft end

where do you see anything about feathers or plastic vanes ??????

ahhh forget it I'm wasting my time replying to you .............

What the heck are you talking about ? I'm waiting for a answer from a WCO not someone who portends they are one.

A projectile shot from a bow with an overall length exceeding the brace height of the bow with fletching design only for guidness at the aft end and a broadhead mounted on the fore end. No electronic tracking devise should be part of or attacked to the arrow.

FOB stands for "fletching only better"

It is a fletching design, right?  It is used to guide the arrow, right?  It is located on the aft end of the arrow shaft, right?

It seems pretty simple to me.

Thank you for pointing that out. Now if the PGC agrees it's a go for me this year.

I build all my own arrows and this year I will be trying FOB's for hunting (I think, still waiting for an answer from wco-l/e). They are so simple that conventional fletching is no longer needed. During a pass through the FOB will pop off the shaft as the arrow passes completely through.I tried them, flight seems to be accurate.
