Raystown Lake Crappies

The cappies have started to hit at Raystown, especially on the southern end of the lake.  Not great numbers, but really nice size.  It is best to have a boat and find some trees that the Corps has cut and cabled to the stump along the bank.  Launch from Shy Beaver to access the southern portion of the lake.

I put some pictures in my blog.

We never could find those trees that are cabled off.  Everyone says about them, but we never saw them and we traveled the whole length of the lake.
