Best day ever!!

HAH! yah right...while sitting in my tree this morning i picked 12 ticks off of me, great start right? saw a lone doe, waited for the buck to follow, of course there was none. at about 9 30 had a lil 5 pt at the base of my tree sniffing the ground on a b-line for my tinks bomb..get out of the tree at 10 30, walk to the truck, talk to the two guys i was with ect ect...set my bow and treestand down in front of the truck..kept talkin...ended up throwin my treestand in the bed of the truck and somehow this dumbass right here forgot about his bow..so whoa and behold i get home and im like ahh ****!! so i go back, find it under leaves, and the first thing i pick up is a broken arrow. great. i then wipe the leaves off of my smashed/bent bow. cooooool. just im time for the rut. moral to this story, dont be an idiot.

Try your homeowners insurance policy, maybe you can make lemonade out of the lemon and get a new bow out of the deal. Your timing really does sucks though. I dropped mine 17' last week when the lowering string broke but luckly it just bounced around.

Sorry to heard about your bad luck, but I always have a backup bow setup just in case something like this happens,I have and old XI bow that has killed a pile of deer in the past and will still get the job done if needed.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Hey, I have company.  Only I didn't run my Mathews FX over last year, I just took off without it and someone else had themselves a new to them bow.  Glad to see I am not the only dumass out there.  Happened to me about the same point in the season, too.  Must be that "rut" in the air making everything act stupidly!

I have a 55-70 pound 29 inch draw length compound I will lend you for the season if you are close enough to come get it. How far out of Elk County are you?

Thank you for the offer, but I started a new job Monday and I've been getting off at 5:30. Oh well...next year.. It's nice to see genuine people still exist!
