SHOOTER MAYBE?

Nice size dog.

Something up with his left eye.

Shooter maybe?

Pawing his scrape.

I'll call him old one eye.

Been using this licking branch since august.

You crack me up.  "Shooter, maybe?"  That fella is 1.5 times the biggest buck we have on camera.

I do have to ask though, do you think his left eye is poked out?  Looks like you may have an advantage drawing back from his left side.  File that away in your memory if the situation ever arises.

Clay i got 2 giants ten points at a spot i hunted last night.I saw a scrub 4 point there. This is a good buck but think about what he'll be next year? Also i have 3 more at this spot with the tens with character racks. They timber this spot over the summer so now it's super thick in spots an wide open in others.I would say maybe 6 to 8 years ago they found a 13 point dead in the creek it scored 167.This spot always grow big bucks for what reason i don't know but we'll see what happens.I think i got a few pics of him a month or so ago with both eyes.I would assume he got his eye poked out fighting. The way i'm hunting the spot he'll more an likely come with his left side to me

Id shoot him, if there is little chance of someone else getting him then maybe wait, in the pic of him pawing at the scrape it looks like he has some sort of an absess under his eye. Maybe a tumor?

Shooter a couple bucks ago. That is a nice one and it would many proud as it would myself. I have made a rule, It's gotta be bigger or better than the one on the wall. I have 2 10 points, 2 9 points and 1 8 point which is the widest and heaviest I've shot on the wall. I'm hoping to whack at least a 12 someday with better than a 19" inside spread.
