definitely stay to right, you can get sucked in to a diversion from the other side if not familiar especially with higher water, and yes, who knows since the flood...

the diversion is gone and boats were parking in there during salmon season to get out of the main river current but there is no point to go thru there, stay wide right and swing out and around. Like I said before the flood didnt change the upper end that much just cleared out some dead wood.

you lost me, but if your talking about the log jamb at the end of frasiers run on the left than it no longer exists. You can swing out to the road or you can turn in before the "island" and cut the swing out to the road, but why? Now if your talking about the diversion at the end of the wire hole before frasiers run on the right most of the log jamb is gone I dont think a boat could go thru and again there is no point. Gonna get a digital camera someday, then we will all be on the same page/river.

I use kwikfish for salmon only, but I have had a few larger steelies whack them. What did you find for shuttle service, got a friend that cant drive and he needs a steelie break.

Steelhead Lodge on rt. 13 ...they said 10 bucks for the shuttle.  I think I'll try pulling some smaller kwikfish, they wack em in the Niagara River.

I rather row in circles than parking it for 6 hrs river-left of the unemployment hole just downstream of Rte 52 bridge... Those guides must have lived previous lives as truckers backing semi's into a loading dock.

There is a nice shoreline along the turn just above the Snag, with a very comfortable log to sit on and contemplate the meaning of life. I hope the flood did not wash that log away..

It was pretty clean down there two weeks ago. I didn't get up to the can but no sitting logs down below.
