bead fishing for Lake Erie steelhead

folks,

I will be heading back to Erie soon for my annual steelhead fishing trip.
Does anyone have any information regarding fishing with "beads" in the Lake Erie tributaries ?
I still have a ton of beads from my AK trip, hand-painted etc., and I really wanted to give them a try for steelhead in PA.

I consulted the regs, but I can`t seem to find anything.

Thanks for the input and happy fishing to all of you.

This topic was recently brought up on this or another board...the consensus was that you're okay to use them.

It's OK Pork, search still isn't working

just looked up 'trout beeds', yes, mispelling was on purpose because that is how it was spelled on original thread, and got 'no results found'

hopefully search will be functioning again soon...
