Nah, not really. Pretty sure I have it pegged.

He should learn to keep the hooks out of his fingers. Especially in dirty water like Chit Crick.

Trying to figure out why people are bashing Dr. Trout.  If it's the Dr. Trout that I'm thinking of, from Brockway.  He's a 60 something guy that has a passion for the out of doors, and decided to share his experiences with a website.  From what I seen from his ramblings, he doesn't claim to be a wizard of all things tackle.  Not sure why the smarminess.
