What's a Blakemore?
In years past some guys have been getting steelies, trolling the trib mouths with "Blakemores".
The only lure by them that I know of is the Roadrunner. That can't be it. What are they using? A plug?

Blakemore = underwater claymore?   If so, could be pretty productive.

blakemore troubleshooters. there are holes in the lure and could be wrong but bubbles are to come through the holes as an attractant. poor richards has them. dont think blakemore makes them anymore. ive used them and still have a bunch. the quality is lousy, the hooks are lousy, however, they catch fish. a few good sized steelies will rip the hooks right out of the thin plastic body and break it. almost any shallowing diving lure will catch fish as well. pink, orange, red, black, and black mixed with any of the mentioned colors works the best imo. for whatever reason, perch colored jr thundersticks work extremely well also. just sayin'
