Looks like you guys had a great time. I am envious. Oh, to be young again with a good back and be able to do a trip like that again.

Looks like alot of fun. I haven't done a trip like that in a long time. I must get out there again. What section of the river was that? I need to do some of the northern parts.

I am new on here, and have not done a float trip since college.  Man I remember what a blast that was.  We usually floated the French Creek..... Anyways i would love to float the Allegheny, however i have no knowledge experience where to fish/camp at.  Any information would be highly appreciated.  I have a 11' basshound tri-hull design that I believe could easily go where a canoe can.  Can anyone suggest a map i can find of the area or any info on camping in that area.   Please and Thank-You...Sure looks like an awesome time...

You can camp on any of the islands on the river. Here's a map to get you started.
