my first mouse

I did not want to hijack bings thread on a mouse. But I had to sit down at the vise and try one for myself. This thing took a long time to do and I think I took it to to far and added to much detail to it. what does everyone think (good and bad)coments are welcome lol..

before trimming

after trimming which took the longest to do

eyes and ears

finished fly

Ok I found a killer pattern of a frog that I will attempt. This one has alot of hair to spin. I'll be at the vise for awhile. I'll start the thread when its done.

Great job on the hair work. I'm a little worried on how there isn't much clearance between the hook point and the hair. That small of a gap could cause short strikes but your tying is nice. It may be the photo so if it is the angle, please excuse me if I'm not correct with what I see. Lets see more, I love working with deer hair and there is no limit as to what you can do with the stuff
