New to me.

Just got myself a new to me boat. It's a 14' Myers laker. Got a 6 hp evenrude motor withit plus a smaller johnson motor. Included nice trailer and oars. All for $800. Let me know if i got a good deal.

    I'm not familiar with a Myers laker but, 14' boat, 2 motors, and a trailer for 800. sounds like a good deal to me. See alot with 1 motor go 1000. to 1500. Now just add life jackets an anchor and maybe a fish finder and it's fishin time.

    Even a bad day of fishing beats a good day at work.

    He threw in 2 life jackets and 2 throwables. Bought the fishfinder a few weeks ago. Now all i need is an electric trolling motor and I'm all set.

    Myers is a great boat. I'm assuming the "laker" model has what they called the "Lake Erie Bow" wich is a flared bow at the top. I have an early 70's model in the 12' with that bow design and used to put a lot of time in on it. You made a good buy, enjoy!

    Thanks for the input. I am pretty stoked about having my new boat. Wife let me buy the trolling motor,battery,and charger on fathers day. She said, you might as well go ahead and buy it, You're gonna get it anyways! LOL
