Classic Wet Flies: Arthur Hoyt

Been a while since I've posted (or tied) classic wets, but after several months of tying hairwings, I sat down and did a slip-wing.

DT, any history on this pattern?



Just after a whip finish and single quick coat of SHH. 3-5 more coats and that head will look alot prettier.

    cold, there wasn't any info on the hoyt fly in my history book.
