dont get discuraged if you dont catch any at the paylakes on your 1st trip or 2. the fish are smarter .some times you got to figure them out. your not just gonna go there and cast out and exspect to catch something. you must have the rite bait at the rite time at the rite dept. it tough sometimes. like said before, the fish have seen every thing. they catch on.

ANYWAY....

Anyone having any luck out at Seghi's? Three of us went out Sunday night (5/16) in our usual spot on the big lake from about 2 pm til 2 am. Grand total of 3 average sized carp caught in an 12 hour stay. All were caught on livers on the bottom. Pretty poor outing. Cooked up some killer meat though, maple deer sausage, steaks, bratwurst... The meat was the best part of the whole stay.

Yeah I know, it was weird. We were fishing liver, doughball, and a fairly reliable (up til now) breakbait all on bottom but the only thing they'd touch was the liver. Time to find some new recipes I suppose.
