might be your anchor point... i rest the bottom fletching on the right corner of my mouth and the string is well clear of my hat. if thats the case and your shooting well i wouldnt mess with it, id turn the hat backwards or wear a camo beanie.

2 things can cause that, your draw is to long or your form is way of its prob more your form. and if that does not work try a new hat

Chicken, I would say its a form error. Part of the reason I say this is because in the thread you started about broadheads you stated your not the best shooter so you compensate with a broadhead that can help you out if you hit some bones. If you go to your local pro shop or have somebody who knows archery very well watch you take a few shots they can probably help you correct your form error which would probably solve your hat problem and help you become a better shooter.

I have the same prob sometimes. if you are shooting well then dont change anything either turn your hat around or move the brim up. def try to get ot a pro shop and see wat you draw length is and if it is wrong get it fixed. that should help but i can be a form issue as well. make sure you are hitting the same anchor point every time. Kisser buttons help alot. alot of the new sights have a green, red or whit ring around the outside of it. they also help to help to hit the same anchor by making sure you can see the whole ring around sight. i dont kno if you have those but they are things that can help shoot better more consistently.

It could be that you have a different anchor point or that your shooting a longer axle to axle bow which would make your string arc hit your hat! I hunt with a knit hat or my ball cap backwards

Thanks for all  the advice on this subject.I don't think nothing is wrong with my form or draw lenght.I been drawing my bow the last few days to see what is going on.I think i know what is happening. When my beck hits the string i think i'm leaning in  to far to see my sight better.I can draw the bow without hitting the beck but sight picture not that clear.I also need to lean into the string to turn my peep sight to get it to line up if this make any sense but thanks for all the great input.

Is it possible that your peep isn't served into your string properly? If you are drawing to the same anchor point every time, the peep should be in the same position when you reach full draw. Does it have a little rubber hose that attaches the peep to the bus cables? Did you change that hose recently? Or, is the peep self rotating?
