Good Luck To All On The Last Day!

    had a monster 10 point, a nice 8, and 3 does today. Nothing within shooting range. Had the 10 snort wheeze at me. Thats a wrap on archery. 2 weeks till rifle

    This was a brutal season of archery for me. In fifteen hunts, ranging from three hour stands to all day stands, I saw exactly six deer. The last two times out (today and thursday), I sat for a minimum of ten hours and saw no deer. The spots I used to see a lot of deer, I saw few and in the spots I used to see few deer, I saw none.

    I'm not complaining because I do enjoy being out. Today, after about 9 hours of sitting and seeing nothing I asked myself if I'd rather be at work. I answered by sitting another two plus hours until dark. I still subscribe to the theory that one moment can change the entire season but...should it be this hard?

    Right there with Danes,it was tough one spike,half rack 3 pt,half rack 5 pt,one nice 8 pt,but too far,and a few does.Did see three nice bucks,from my car,my son got the big 7 pt that crossed the road on me,and I saw a giant running a doe on friday,across a just picked corn field,I hunted there sat.morning and saw no deer but could have shot a pile of doves,evening hunt,saw no deer from my stand,but about a 100 yards away on posted land(fresh cut corn saw 18 does,a a beautiful half rach 2 pt.
