Mohawk River lock 7-8. 8/29

Started out at lock 8 1st thing in the morning. Couldn't buy a bite. Tried cranks, soft swimmies, and drop-shotting. After that, I hit the islands upstream from the Rexford bridge. Caught 3 semi-decent smallies there. Then I got a phone call. It was Reel Force. He spotted me from shore. He works someplace right on the river. He must have been a good luck charm. After I left him, I travelled upstream a bit and worked some weededges. Hooked up with 3 more smallies, all 14-17 inches. Out of everything I used today, the only thing they wanted were my Wally Divers in the perch pattern.

No 'eyes again today.
