Sugar Lake

Hey fp, I live 5 minutes from Sugar. I've never had much luck there (as far as numbers). There are some nice bass. Panfish are dinks, at least the ones I've found. Got a couple hammer handle pike there too. Best part for me is the low traffic fishin. Usually only 1 or 2 other boats out there. Plus, there's a gaggle of cedar wax wings that live across the lake from the launch, fun to sit & watch. Also a pair of bald eagles you'll likely see. I never catch many fish there, but it's always one of the funnest spots for me anyway....and the wings at the Hotel are AWESOME! Three words, Golden Garlic Parmesean.

~forgot to add ~ it's a 9.9 lake. Used to be 4.5 or 5 horse, but they upped it. Also a 'special regulation' lake, different size/creel limits.
