class 1 life vest

well, i don't know if it's class 1, but i have the ones that you strap around your waste and have a pull string wwith a co2 cartridge in it.  i use it when i pontoon the river, and i actually had a DEC ranger ask me if i had a flotation device and he was fine with that when i showed it to him.  they are a little expensive (maybe 65-85 dollars) but they are worth it.  i where it right around my waders and it also serves as a belt to keep your waders tight around your waist. good luck
