Well, sheeetz, I actually read the article (and interpreted it), and it was caught right were I was.. bear creek access.   ****.   Shoulda fished a while.   Woulda been cool to see.   Don't think I'd been landing that on a 5/6 spey rod.  Notta. 

 
You'll need to try harder next time.

You won't be able to get close to the water, every Snoopy rod for 100 miles around will be there trying to catch a fish. I was stationed at Little Rock AFB when Rip Collins caught the record brown in the Little Red River. We stayed away from there for about 3 months while the hype died down. There was so much power bait floating down the river, the fish started eating it like it was a hatch!
