come on, this is for everyones education...  Think of it like moulding young minds!  Isn't there a saying about "teach a man how to fish and you feed him for life?"   You could even say its for the good of the site?

No just this one as most are posting here.  But it is great to share patterns.

bubb.. you must have missed the memo that this forum is as stratified as Opus Dei

"Sure, we can assiduously three-quarter our wets downstream, mend and wait out each fly swing, over and over again, which to my way of thinking, anyway, relegates the angler to the role, not of nemesis as it should be, but of butler."

Bubb,

Almost every question you can have is answered somewhere, either on this board, or the "fly tying" board. Search through them, and you will no doubt find the recipes you seek. The is also a "button" on the main page of this site, entitled "flies". There are a handful of recipes there. Another fine option, is to join one of the "fly swaps" that will no doubt spring up over the next month, or so. These generally include not only an exchange of various flys, but also the tying pattern. Be very sure not to "Boggart" the group should you join.

After serching a zillion patterns I'm going to make up some clayworms that look really good.  I like trying stuff that might work but not everone is using.  I'll post one after I get it tied up.
