Homemade knife no information make offer/claim

       I found this knife off of mountain road T-180 while rifle Deer hunting in 1998 Forest County near Logan Run .Between Mayburg and Marienville.... It was stuck into a stump of which had not been logged in atleast 20+years . Information from a friend stays it is a homemade knife by looking at the handle . I had it chemically cleaned and restored to it's former glory. Make me a resonable offer and it's yours that simple. If you lost it explain to me the size tree stump you lodged it in and describe the leather sheath to me that was also found laying beside it ( I will return for no fee). Judging the condition it had been there for some time and the owner may indeed be deceased .  If you have any information on its origin please share for historical purposes.
 

 
The only identifying charicteristic on the entire knife is on the brass handle it appears to be 5 larger circles around an inner small circle (looks like a flower?)
