oak orchard flies

Im just looking for suggestions on what flies to use for browns up in NY on the oak and surrounding streams.  Any info would be gret

    You only need a couple flies in different sizes and colors.

    Sucker Spawn in size #12 and #16. Cream, Orange/Peach, Pink, and Cheese/Yellow.

    Wooly Buggers in #8 and #12. White and Black.


    If you aren't catching a bunch of fish on these flies, then look at your presentation for errors.

    traditional spey style flies have worked great for me the past few years, along with what was previously stated.

    browns will take some big a@s flies dont think something is to big saw Norm get um on some big **** spey patterns, got my biggest 1 on a big egg sucking leach.  aloways did well on green egg paterns. \
     
     
     
    o yeah i forgot the mouse patterns too haha had a few look at it but no takers..

    I've fished oak orchard many of times.  It is an awesome brown fishery, and when the salmon are running things get quite interesting.  Basically for the browns all that you would need would be a bunch of egg patterns.

    You remember that purple peacock spey??? Best fly that whole trip. Caught fish when nobody was getting them.
