New reel for steel...

I'm going to be getting a new reel for steelhead here soon and was wondering if any of you guys had experience with or any opinons on any of these reels.  I'm stuck between the galvan torque, ross momentum, and sage 2560. going with 6/7 weight and the reel will be matched to the TFO jim teeny 10' 7 weight

    I use the same rod as you and I have a TFO 340 reel on it.  Its significantly cheaper than the three reels you listed.  The reel is solid and well built, it's basically bullet proof.  The drag is very smooth!  Been using it for a few years and for many different fish species and have not had any problems with it.  Check it out, you might be very surprised by it.  Good luck in your search.

    thanks man checked those out...a little bit to blah and plain for my tastes haha ...im not doubting you just not my taste

    Good deal.  Just thought I would throw it out there since I use one on that rod.  You are right that it is a plain looking reel, but I like the plain, traditional look.  Again good luck with your search.

    just found a heck of a deal on the sage 2560...im going to go with that one
