I have been caught in some real hairy ones and dont believe any amount of fish is worth being fired for. close maybe but not quite.

I hear ya mr. jigs, I lived in Slidell, La. for 6 years. and after seeing BASEBALL sized hail firsthand down there you get a whole new respect for mother nature and  how fast she can slap you across the face!!

Yes they do! and when i was much younger Big bad thunderstorm didnt bother me. Until on lake D' Arbone, LA, A bunch of us got caught in the open lake with a rather small one, we made it back to the bank just as another bass boat towing a man in a aluminum 14' john boat to the bank. He had been struck in the shoulder then it ran through his body and blew out both knee caps where they were close to the aluminum seat in front of him. Looked like some one put a 45 behind his knees and pulled the trigger. didnt ever know if he lived or died, they drove him up the road to meet an incoming ambulance. I've been in some boomers that would make you wish you where at home washin dishes, lol rain ok thunder storm, no thanks.
