1000 Islands Pike Advice Sought

We come to Fisher's Landing 1 to 2x per year, to stay a week and fish. We just arrived for the week.

Two years ago we got about 4 pike throughout the week, but last year we caught none.  We are close to Wellesley Island, and the Narrows and Eel bay so any area around there is an option.

We have a 18-foot Crestliner with 115hp so we can get around pretty well.

Our current kit is Texas rigged senkos, and bucktail jigs with twister tails.  Can anyone point us towards some pike?

I don't know the fishing in that area well, but I've done some pleasure boating up there. We see alot of people drifting minnows between Picton and Grindstone island during the summer.  For me spoons usually do pretty good, orange mepps or troll some larger diving lures and cover some water.

Highly recommend you stop into the TI bait shop on rt 12 and ask the boys where they are biting... The other alternative is to hit up a guide for a day - its not uncommon to hear numbers of 25-30 pike in a day of fishing with one of the local guides.
