grafton park

I was looking for a nice canoe area and grafton looks interesting, looking to do a little fly fishing it looks like one of the ponds has brookies.

Just curious what you guys think of grafton, otherwise its either thompsons or otsego.

I've never caught a brookie in in any of Grafton Lakes or ponds.  My guess is the invasive bass crowded them out long ago.. There are browns in some and I believe Rainbows were stocked there before also.  Pretty place, but the fish run small.

I have never caught any brookies but it is a beautiful place to fish for browns and rainbows. Stick to the edge of the drop offs if you are trolling a fly.
