Shenango River smallmouth

Biggest smallmouth of my life! 18", heavy. What mean fighters - I've caught largemouth 6" longer than this that didn't put up half the fight.



Group of three - the only fish in 3 hours. 1/8 oz. or 1/4 oz. panther martin.

How much bigger do SM get, just wondering. Anybody have tales?

    man, that is one nice fish.  river fish are always stronger too.  good job.

    Nice smallie , I know your in the shade there but she looks really dark. Great fighters , yes they are.

    just got done fishing the river caught 13 or 14 all on a perch rapala none even close to the says of that one nice fish
