A Day At Jimmy's

Took the weekend off from Striper fishing - maybe the season, and went out with Jimmy. We were well rewarded - caught Crappie,Bluegill,Rock Bass,Walleye,Perch,Smallmouth, Largemouth, and Pumkinseed .
Ole Jeff here even managed to pick up Jimmy's Fly rod and catch about 7-8 nice Gills... Well we took a break and went up to the house and cooked some up ( Coleman stove and deep fried them ) Hell the fish were so good we forgot all about the side dishes and dipping sauce. Heck I don't even think I used a plate -lol . Back to the water we went - caught a few more mostly Smallmouths . Jimmy what a blast man  !!!
Despite the wind working against us and the limited spots we could really cover , the number of fish we pulled in was outstanding !

We kept telling each other we should be taking more pictures ....

    Awesome job guys!!
It sounds like you caught just about everything that swims in that lake.
This is my definately my favorite time of year, with so many fish species to choose from and so little time.
I need to quit my job and be a fishing bum

That was a fun evening Reel Force!!!  You forgot the couple of Perch we got too!!!

Pretty good showing by all the Snyders species- with the exception of the bullheads and carp...  But at least we SAW a bullhead, huh?  The fish were delicious- good call!

This little puddle in Rensselaer County is pretty 'hit or miss' and its fun when it's actually "on!"

Hope we get the boys together for a few brews and basses somemtime soon...
