2007 Mr. Whiskers Carp & Catfish Fishing Derby
Here's the info. on this upcoming tourney that will be returning after a two-year hiatus:
36 hours of continuous fishing on the Allegheny River in the Oil Heritage Region (Venango County, NW PA)
Site: Allegheny River & its tributaries, from shore or by boat from Hunter's Station to the bridge at Emlenton.
Eligible Fish: Flathead or Channel Catfish, and Carp
Date/Time: 7 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2007 to 7 a.m. Sunday, August 19
Entry Fee: $15 for anglers age 17 or older. $5 for anglers under 17 year of age.
Awards: Cash prizes to top three winners, adult and youth, in each species
Register: By mail until August 10, 2007, or at the Oil City Marina on August 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.
