Woodcock Creek Lake

Fished Woodcock today and got to watch the PFBC guys putting Muskys back in the lake that they had milked...Saw some nice fish..
The East wind was terrible but did manage to catch 2 smallies that were 20", Missed another big bass that threw the lure, Caught a 32" Musky. and had a hold of the largest Waleye I have ever fought..Was over 28", took a stickbait in 3 feet of water right beside the boat.
Fought him for about 30 seconds and he got off..What a pig...

Was having trouble getting strong hook sets I was only using 6lb test..
And no I wasn't smart enough to take the camera.

    Sounds like a good day

I finally found what I've been searching for, where I've been searching. And no, I'm not telling anyone what, or where ( for awhile anyway ). Not after more than a week ( every day ), and several hundred fishless casts to find them.

didn't make it. my daughter bailed out on me at the last min. i hate going there alone any more .it get's to boaring & also for saftey reason's . i popped my knee out, a few years ago while out fishing lower elk durnig trout season. another angler got off his chair & walked over & asked if i needed any help . & i said yes my knee has popped .  that S.O.B went back over & sat back down and started fishing again. i had to pull my self out of the water & half crawle & limp back to the car. in extreme pain of course . since that day i hate going fishing alone near rock's or in the creek's . or at night (just incase i twist or pop something out again) that i epsode fixed it for me. so if the fishing buddy i have for the outing bail's on me . "well" then i'm screwed out of a trip.

well who ever made it down there last night . i hope you all did well. & were safe.
