Bass in Pymatuning

Finished the yearly camping trip to Jamestown Campground. Finally got a boat and was able to get away from the shore, but  didn't have any luck. We tried fishing the same way we fish Lake Arthur with plastic worms and small minnow lures in the shollows, but no luck. In the morning we were surrounded by jumping fish of all size, but couldn't get any to bite. Many of them looked like they were eating bugs, but some of the bigger ones seemed to be taking minnows.
Does anybody have any luck on the Bass in Pymatuning? Any suggetions on ways to fish when surrounded by jumping fish.  Really enjoy camping and fishing the lake, but could never figure it out.

Go to the north end.  Much better bass water there.  Shallow, better cover, etc.  Buzz baits and Spinnerbaits in white and chartreuse are very good.  Had one morning between Linesville and Stewart's Bay a buddy and I caught 48 largemouth in 2.5 hrs.  Awesome morning in June.  Biggest was just shy of 19"

Went to Linesville 2 weeks ago and did great with largemouth hitting points off Harris and Clark islands.  Topwater rattle baits were catching one after another. Biggest was 20", and a few others were about the same. Decided to lay off the walleye fishing, and it was the best decision we made all year.  Did really well with bluegill and such on slip bobbers and jigs tipped with waxworms.  Also caught a 15" crappie on a 5" sinking rapala trolling behind Harris island.  Strange. Best trip in a long time up there.  Very refreshing.
