Lake Wilhelm crappies ???

Anybody been doing any good at Wilhelm for crappies ?

    Fished saturday the 11th from 9:30 am to 12:30 Did not catch any. Weather cold and strong north wind could not control the boat and the two mushroom anchors I had would not hold bottom because of the strong wind.

    I live real real close to Lake Wilhelm, and I've been hearing that the crappie fishing has picked up. However, I myself don't know where or how they figure this. I haven't got anything yet.

    I usually do ok early fishing from the causeway, seems like they like the rocks around there early in the year, live minnies.

    Keep your powder, martinis and trout flies dry.

    I have been going to Launch 3 a lot, bout it seems every chance I get to go, everyone else has had the same idea.
