Kinzua ****/lake

Does anyone have a report for here?  I have never fished here but plan on making a trip in the near future.  Any help would be helpful.
Thanks

Nothing recent that I have heard but in late June/early July they were hitting, eyes, perch and crappie in the resevoir.  Try points and submerged timber jigging or maybe trolling harnesses or bottom bouncers for eyes.

Might want to post up here to see if you can get any recent reports.

If fishing the PA section try Sugar Run or past Red Bridge there are cribs in the shallows.
Stripers can be found drifting with a minnow or night crawler in the center/deepest part.
If fishing the NY end you will need a special Reservation Licence.
Try the old road or railroad bed on the North East side past Willow Bay.
Hook Line and Sinker on West Washington St-about a mile toward Bradford from  Willow Bay has minnows

the Grissly Gary forum is your best bet. info on kinzua is very hard to come by. even the bait shops up there are extremely tight lipped.

Can you find out when they let water out of the dam to raise water levels in the river?

I live in the Allegheny National Forest(Oil Field) and can see the water from my deck. We haven' t been up to the reservation lately where the fishing is usually better. We are marking a lot of fish in Sugar but catching the 13-14 inchers.  We've got some pike on the West Bank.  We have fished the lake for 25 years and the water color is not right.  This spring the water was a disaster.  The sediment run off from all the clearing, road building etc. by the oil companies is screwing up the water. What they are doing to your National Forest is absolutely ridiculous. It is truly a man made disaster.
