Whatever happened to the idea that the 'worst day of fishing' was better than the 'best day at work'????

fo me, fishing is a beautiful pleasant experience full of joy of the outdoor and the excitement of the "bite".  With light equiptment trout fishing is challenging enough given the snags and riffles and runs of a small stream.

Long periods of skunks or funks that come from time to time, convince me that catching FISH is part of the experience and I can wait for hours between bites/fish or even trips..but Its unpleasant fishing dead water.

Kind of like getting up as kids to peek under the christmas tree and not getting presents.

this thread has a certain confusing disgruntled negative tone.  some of you are upset that PA stocks at all and others are upset that PA is cutting back. While its ok to have an opinion and want changes; I don't understand the negativeness...

"What good are pelletheads??" they are FISH, fun to catch and enjoyable to chase.  you might think there's better fish- but still.  I'd enjoy fishing for anything including minnows given light enough equiptment to feel the fish really try to win its food (without the exam) and in the always pleasant PA outdoors.

if you don't like them you don't HAVE to chase them.  you cannot, as an individual, hope to change course of a large beaucracy that answers to millions of PA anglers.

Heck yeah,
it may not be a large drop over the course of a year but from the last 10 years it is getting ridiculous. It's comparable to the control socialism has taken over our society . Twenty years ago you could actually have fun in this commonwealth but as time goes on we are only permitted certain luxuries such as ; being able to sit in front of a computer or televison while we are being brainwashed drones . I now think I might as well lay down & give up as nobody seems to notice what used to be . Yea right   As for the pollution compare it to other industries ...... Produce more for the love of tradition and the hopes of global warming for the era without sun spots.......
